I really enjoyed this. I have actually been listening to old blues non-stop for the past month. I really like "Devil Got My Woman" by Skip James. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtZ6DoeimP4 . Check it out if you have the time.
yesssssss. so good. skip james is my favorite bluesman. the quote "someday, baby, you know you gotta die" (that's at the top of my blog in the header) is from "crow jane," which he sings. and "devil got my woman" has, of course, always been a favorite of mine.
